Infanticide (the murder of unwanted children) is practiced among several indigenous tribes of the Amazon region of South America.

The main victims of this practice are children born with birth defects, twins / triplets, children born out of wedlock and also other children who just fail to develop normally after birth. Each year, hundreds of children are sacrificed, many of them, buried alive. There’ve been cases of children being buried alive as old as 15 years old!

The Father’s Heart is a new effort on the part of Global Outreach Mission's representatives, Barry & Vania Hall, to offer the Indians an alternative to infanticide. The Father’s Heart (a house of refuge) is a direct expression of God’s unconditional love to these precious little ones. It’s a place where they’ll be welcomed with open arms, highly cherished, treated with dignity and respect, and most of all, inundated with the Love that comes directly from the Father Heart of God. It‘ll provide comprehensive short and long term care.

Still needed are funds for the purchase of the land / buildings and also several Godly personnell with many different gifts to staff it.
