Sarah Speer

Sarah Speer
Sarah Speer's heart is knit to the people of Congo. She calls them her friends. On September 19, 2017, the Kimia Leprosy Center was dedicated to the Lord to bring healing (physically and spiritually) to people affected by leprosy. Many Aka Pygmies living in the tropical rain forest of the northern region of Congo are plagued by this ancient destructive disease and other neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). American Leprosy Missions is partnering with MissionGO to make a difference in these peoples' lives. It is an overwhelming task, but your prayers and gifts will have a positive impact. Thank you!

Venture Fund
CONGO LEPROSY PROJECT - Outreach The health situation for the Aka Pygmies in the northern Likouala Region is in dire need of our help. We have seen diseases there that we had never seen before and many that we had. We encountered leprosy, yaws, possible Buruli ulcer, malaria, worms, malnutrition and much more. They live in the midst of great poverty and mistreatment by some of the Bantu Tribe.
