Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send?  And who will go for us?"  And I said, "Here I am.  Send me!"  (Isaiah 6:8)    In October 2011, I took my first medical mission trip to Guatemala to work with La Mision. I cried the whole way home because I knew God had just shown me my future and where He was sending me. As I wrestled with and prayed about His call into the mission field, Isaiah 6:8 became clear to me that it was the life verse He had laid upon my heart. I am excited for every day to see how God is revealed to and through me, and continue to be blessed beyond words to be chosen for His mission!

GAP STUDENTS

Supporting a gap year student is an investment in a young person stepping boldly into the world to grow, serve, and discover their calling. During a gap year, students gain real‑world experience, develop maturity, and engage in meaningful work. As they serve, they deepen their relationship with God, seek His direction, and better understand the unique purpose He has for their lives.
